This is an emerging, rapidly evolving situation and MDUSD along with the County Office of Education and the County Health Department are working to provide updated information and guidance as it becomes available.

staying healthy

  • Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially:
    • after going to the bathroom
    • before eating 
    • after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing
  • Do not touch eyes, nose or mouth
  • Cover mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing (using a tissue/sleeve/facemask)
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Wipe down surfaces with alcohol containing cleaner
  • Follow CDC guidelines for using a facemask
    • CDC does not recommend using a facemask to protect against respiratory diseases, including the coronavirus
    • Facemasks should only be used by those showing symptoms of the coronavirus to help prevent its spread
