4. Why do you like working with kids? Kids bring so much excitement and knowledge in my life. They help bring out the best role model in me. These kids are the future and I love that I can be apart of that in so many little ways. 


The Garden Academy in Bay Point is getting ready for the warmer weather and new crops! Many of our schools have already began venturing off into the garden, the following pictures show Ygancio Valley Elementary students excited to see that spring came a little early, it's always an adventure learning in the garden!

CARES Elementary Basketball Game

CARES hosted their first elementary game at Oak Grove middle school for Cambridge elementary and Meadow Homes elementary. Both teams did an amazing job and loved the middle school atmosphere. A big thank you to Karla and her team at Oak Grove for hosting a great game.

2017 Warriors NBA Math Hoops tournament

Four students from El Dorado Middle School were invited to compete at the 2017 Warriors NBA Math Hoops tournament last Saturday at the Warriors Training Facility in Oakland. The Bay Area tournament is a culminating event for all students who participated in the math hoops season from October through March.


Harvest of the Month

Our Harvest of the Month for March is yummy avocados! Avocados are known as the healthy fat our bodies need. Avocados are full of vitamin C, vitamin B, vitamin K, folate, and potassium.
